48mm IDF webbers
I have a new set of 48mm IDF webbers that have done dyno time only . This is a complete bolt on set to suit a type 1 engine that are 2 hrs old . They
are in excellent condition and will suit any engine that is capable of producing more than 150 HP , I am asking $ 1200 for this kit and this will save
you almost $ 250 on a new kit , ROD , 02-42729920

maybe Rod wanted this single set of carbs in the general for sales section because that's where the majority of trading happens?...........my
interpretation of the rules of both those subforums might be wrong........from my reading it's only sponsors to post in business
adverts...........not sponsor us so your advertisments can get pigeon holed over in a corner with SFA veiwers?
any choice of vents, jets etc with these Rod, or just as they come?

Looks like a nice setup for the price.... As Daimo said, isn't this a general sale, its a one off item, not a special..... (just my
thinking....please don't hurt me..)
Had a chat with Rod on the phone the other day, great chap to deal with

Daimo , thanks for the support . I agree with what you are saying and this is also my view . The carbs were ran as std without any jet changes and are
in good condition . I did a comparison on the dyno between the 48mm IDF and the 48mm IDA on a particular engine combo and there was a remarkable
difference in power with the IDA's. There is not any problems with the carbs and they have the std 40mm ventiries in them . I can have these machined
out to any size you like for a small fee of about $ 40 a set . I cannot remember the jet stack sizes , but have over 400 different size main , air and
idle jets and will jet them to suit your requirements at no extra charge . I have a few different styles of emulsion tubes as well if you need these
changed , thanks ROD .
