WANTED - Type 1 ENGINE

I am in need of a replacement engine for my 71' Super Bug. The 1600 TP removed from car needs rebuild.

I am very flexible with what capacity, so long as it willl fit my car.

Engine needs to be in a running order.

I am located in Townsville (4814), therefore I am more than happy to freight up from east coast addresses.

I need to get the old girl back on the road.

My mobile number is 0425746672

Many thanks - Matthew

Matt,

Are you going to rebuild the 1600, or looking to get rid of it? What is freight likely to cost you (ballpark)?

cheers

WANTED - Type 1 Engine

Hey Kev,

Depending on how I go with finding a replacement engine, It may work out that I will no longer need this engine, and would be looking to get rid of it. (Sorry that I can't be more certain of an answer here)

I understand that you are looking for an engine to do mock ups on?

Would I be right in assuming you live in ACT? If so, I estimate freight from TVL would cost around the $350-$400 mark (would need to do some investigating).

If you just need an engine for mock ups, this would be an expensive operation, but more than happy to help you here.

Regards,

Matthew
