[FS - QLD] 1965 Baja Bug

Hi All,

Up for sale is my 1965 Baja Bug. A new 1600cc engine (reconditioned) was installed in January 2008, and shows 8900 kilometers since the installation.

The baja is currently registered until April 2010, and I have a current RWC for it.

The baja comes with a spare set of window glass and 2 rear sand tyre rims (16 x 9 inch).

I have all the paperwork pertaining to the approval by Queensland Transport of the baja conversion and the new engine installation.

I am currently looking to sell it for $4500 ono.

I am happy to provide more details or photographs upon request.

Cheers,

John

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I should look at posting an ad for my baja (apart from here)?

I have put it up on Gumtree (Brisbane) and Car Sales; is there anywhere else that is a viable option?

very nice indeed , question, i believed that bug eyes couldn't be rego'd because the head lights must be 600mm or wider apart or is that just NSW? besides that it is a very clean straight looking un spoilt baja good luck with the sale.

Thats why people fit head light spot lights on the bull bar to make it the legal distance. :tu:

Just like how the volks rods use after market spot lights as head lights.

Whack it up on eBay too buddy, most people look there first these days.

Usually not a Baja fan, but i think this one has character. Must be those bug eyes:yes:

Hi Arpspasm, the pan is in excellent condition and the heater channels are fine. There are no other cancer issues, but there are a couple of spots where the paint is a little worn.
