VERY interesting solution to Mud guards (more flaps) for VOLKSROD

Original.

I didn't like it initially... But its kinda grown... sorta.. ish.

But i rekon it would be betta than a full wheel guard (visually). Wonder how the engineer would take on it though.

(Note you can't see them from the front, but from the back of each tyre, you see a little flap near the bottom, where the majority of water and mud would spash up.

So much more visually appealing!
EXCUSE THE COUNTRY BUMKIN MUSIC! (sorry for those that luv it for excusin it!)

i kind of like them but yeah i reckon you need to have a certain percentage of your wheel covered.

Hi Chris,

I don;'t think those "mud flaps??" would be legal...
Not sure what they would be called...

the mud etc would go all over the side of the car...

Music was OK... lol

They're a good stealthy idea, but in Qld you have to have at least 30% of your tyre covered and has to be at the rear of the tyre. Pity. Those ones you showed on the vid just blend into the shadows made by the wheels.
