Carpet and Interior Trim

Hi guys

Wondering if you guys know anything about CVD carpet kits and trim kits that George sells. Looks like he also has TMI stuff as well.

What is the quality and fit of the carpet and trim, anyone know?

Thanks Trevor

I am a trimmer/ upholsterer and i have re-trimmed a beetle with a practically new CVD/TMI interior kit in it. In my opinion the quality seems pretty good for what you pay for. It certainly is not a quality custom trim job at all but it looks good. It is not really much of a vinyl on the door cards, more a plastic sort of stuff but it looks ok. The only reason my customer wanted it replaced was because they had a really custom beetle and the interior just didn't look as good as could have.

Put it this way, When i do an interior in a beetle i make a 10 piece carpet kit to replicate the original as close as possible. I think the TMI carpets are 2 piece.
Over all they look good but when you look up close you can tell the difference between TMI and a real trim job.
