hard to tell - but is this one??

Came out of a stash that "could" be air cooled 2L T3 type 4 stuff??

As stated in original post, it's for a twinport Beetle engine, 1300 or 1600 will be the same. Mine's a 1300 tp but it's in a '61 model so, year model is pretty irrelevant.

depending on what engine tin ware you have fitted

Dave,

Will be fitted with stock 1300/1600 twinport rear tin, with single heat risers.

Single or twin heat risers was the only difference in late (twinport) rear tin as far as I know.

all the 12volt bug ones are the same overall just minor cosmetic differences

from memory upright kombi engines had the same animal too

You can usually pick them up for $5 at swap meets....

Most beetles no longer have them..
but still have the 50mm hole letting hot air into the engine compartment which is a no no...
