Popping and Jerking

Hey all, I just got my beetle back from the panel beaters on Friday after 3.5 long months and she is playing up. Not to sure whats going on. I'm thinking after sitting in a dusty panel shop for over 3 months wouldn't help either. I drove her out of the panel shop and it started popping very loudly and it was also very jerky when driving. I'm going to ring first thing tomorrow and book it in for a full service and tune up but I'm just wondering if you leave a car sitting for over 3 months in a dusty panel shop is this kind of activity normal??
Thanks Guys, Quin

Change the spark plugs, after 3 months stop start they foul up and will miss due to the carbon on the electrodes.

cool thanks for the tips guys. Although i don't think condensation has been a issue up here for the last 4-5 months! Hasn't rained up this way for a good 4 months! Plus the fuel tank is brand new and there was very little petrol in it when i picked it up so i filled it straight away but it was still happening. Anyways will book her in tomorrow ;)
