isn't the old bar festival at OLD BAR?
Which is south east of taree.
I lived in newcastle for 28 years and never seen and kombi gathering there at bar beach.
Biggest event in newcastle was Euro day at lambton park

Yep, the kombi gathering is at Old Bar, on the coast from Taree. The weather in Port Macquarie is scattered cloud and windy at the moment, so it may
not be wet at Old Bar either.

So where did you get this info from Abp66, we have a Bar Beach but the beach at Old Bar is a long way north of here.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

In Newcastle we have the Mattara Hill Climb this weekend and the newspaper add shows a bettle going up the hill.

That's why they call it a hill climb, they go up.
Should be exciting if this rain keeps up, specialy at the pinch before the hay bales.

Just got back from the Old Bar Festival & had a wonderful weekend..............lots of Kombi & the cruise to Taree on Saturday afternoon was
great. This was our 3rd year at the Festival & we have re-booked for next year.
