I bought one from Mick Motors. The price after shipping was cheaper than trying to bring in from the US.

Got a free cap also.

The are all the same with that part number Mick.
That sounds very cheap to your door!
That US dollar price must really help.
Weddle's current price is a bout US$1 dollar more to own plus shipping.
Last one i got in was around the A$400 mark, but that was shipped UPS.

Dear Mck 058,Can't help to throw some cold hard facts at this.I still use the original Rhino case that I purchased some 21 years ago.Despite their thin casting around the differential area I have absolutely dished torture at this &
cannot at this stage criticise it.The secret to making anything live is to reduce
any chance of it moving as you do a differential. If you had unstabilised frame horns or inadeqaute mountings & wished to put the load I dish to mine then
you would induce breakage.Regards-Ross.

Mick058..forgot to mention that a 5mm steel strap surrounds the bell housing with a 10 mil pinch bolt. The box sits on all solid steel mounts & there in no other retention apart from a side cover clamps that I made to keep the crown wheel at the meal table !!What engine plant are you running.Regards-Ross

Hi

I think these Rhino cases use the old fashioned style pinion bearing, before you buy you should have a word to your tranny guy.

Mick058,the rhino case has the early style pinion 4 bolt retention.I do not
know if they do a late styled bearing case.If you are putting turbo mumbo
through it you will need a heavy duty after market pinion bearing retainer.
I made a big flat plate & hardened it where the pinion bolt heads sit as the bolt heads will pull into the alloy & let the pinion leave the meal table.

I also would have a gusset plate welded at the bottom on the ring gear side to reinforce the weak spot, ask DANGEROUS, he can do it. Mike
