1 spline or 2?
I'm all set to drop my 65 this week, I have the front end sorted (dropped spindles, 2" narrowed beam with sway away adjusters) and I'm now trying
to work out if I should go 1 splines or 2 at the back. If anyone with an early 60's bug can be bothered to post a picture of their car and let me
know how many splines you turned so I can see the results, it would much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. Mine's a '70 model but might give you some idea. I dropped it 2 inner splines. If/when I can get it registered I'll raise it back up one
spline, but mainly because I'm running 29 inch tall tyres.
Here it is before -

And after -

Thanks for the info, this is the look I am going for, I guess this is two or even three splines. Would be cool to see some 1 spline cars to build up
a better picture. Thanks.

Go by the chart Daimo posted and set it where ever you want it. By measuring the ride height now, work out how much lower and reset the bars
accordingly. 1, 2 or 3 splines is.....how we say......bogus!
