This was meant to be a fishing/canoeing trip. We should have brought our skis instead! Crazy weather!

The name of the area should have given you a clue    
 
Could have canoed down the side of the road. Then again it's a nice drive along the alpine way and little traffic, just watch for roo's, wombats,
goats, emus, deer and horses at dusk/dark/dawn.
