Difference in 2lt starter to 1600/1800
Hi all
Could someone help me with the techinacal difference between a 2lt starter and 1800. I know the two litre starter is lonng in the shaft but how
much?

1600 is 65mm
2ltr is 80mm
so the answer is 15mm

Does that mean the 1800 starter motor is the same as a 2 liter??
I suppose so seeing they are type 4 engines...
the pinion on the starter shaft is very odd looking on the type 4 starter....
