1300 Dual Port Heads on a 1600

I have just been given a complete 1300 (AB) Dual Port Type 1 Motor.

I currently have a brand new new set of standard 1600 Barrels and Pistons.

Will these Barrels and Pistons bolt straight on to the 1300 motor, or do I have to modify the heads?

Cheers
Peter

I believe the heads are the wrong size...

Would probably be worth having the heads re-coed (and set up for 1600 pistons and barrels) whilst you are changing things over - this would sort the problem out and ensure that your top-end is in the best possible condition for a long life :)

The 1300TP heads also have smaller valves so they will restrict the breathing of the engine - get them changed to the bigger 1600 valves when you have the heads re-coed...
