Hello

Hello ,

New member saying high !

Bought my first 1972 superbug couple of months back , it was the original owner . Have spent money on new carbie, fixing some engine leaks etc. Runs like a dream!

Just question to members what do you think a full strip down and respary would cost? Long term goal that I would love to get to ! Money prevailing!

Hi there, welcome and congrats on the new car.

Re strip down, are you talking body off resto or just taking external parts off body and spraying.

If it the later and you are paying someone to do it all, I would think around $4-5000 for a good job.

If you are talking about a body off and spraying internal, add about $2000.

These are only my thoughts and I am not in the panel game, others will jump in I;m sure.

hey, trying to steer away from mechanical stuff thats not restoration or custom related, but since we are just 1 month old i guess work is work.... give me a call 0401 55 40 49 and we'll have a chat... other alternatives are CBB in penrith, Macarthur grange in campbelltown and Vintage veedub.... but if we are closer to u, then you are more than welcome.... cheers adam
