hey there everyone, just sayin a quick hello from north queensland, currently just about to undertake a resto on my '57 Beetle and wondering if
anyone has any ideas who best to contact for bits and pieces for this beastie?? new to fnq (ex brizvegas) any help is great. cheers.

Welcome aboard! '57 sounds like a great project. Post some pics if you can.
As for contacts, check out some of the sponsors. I think there's also a few decent VW shops up Townsville and Cairns way to choose from.
Mick motors in Brissy is a good place to start.

thanks andy,
used to deal a lot with mick and chris at mick motors. just finding vw shops up here is a little hard at the moment, found one called werners vw
centre but he is apparently starting to shy away from the old school and prefers the new stuff, i suppose thats not too bad coz my wife drives a mk5
golf pacific, doesnt help me though with the old boy! posted some pics of it in members rides.
