Ians is porsche isn't it?..........

if these were a couple of hundered $$ less they would sell a lot more IMHO

Stidub........you won't be dissapointed with the berg.......when people ask if it's an auto, just nod and smile as you point out the clutch pedal.......only non VW and the non mechanical will ask anyways

Like any custom race product these items cost alot to manufacture, the price is very reasonable for such a unit.

after checking these out at the nats, and playing with the one in the 36hp salt flat bug.... i must say, i really like it, perhaps more than the berg... just not keen on the T handle, yes bergs have the ball handle but farrk its pricey just for a ball, oh & i had a pool ball in my bug when i actually drove it, the bug-tech would make using it again possible
nice product :) that said, having a slightly bent back 2" longer one for beetles would make alot of sence for the taller drivers...

the extra lever may be for reverse dave??

i think the jeffereys one is kinda going for the jap look (hmmmm.... thats ironic..)

The bug tech looks great, but... price is still an issue. However, given that you have been able to try it and that we can (hopefully) contact the supplier, i see a bit of win in that!

I think if you are spending 10's of thousands on restos/race cars $400 is not bad. Production cost of these shifters is a fair bit higher than other mass produced shifters that are offered elsewhere.
Thanks for checking these out, direct any questions to the website... VM is heading to the VW Classic so new orders will be shipped June 17.
