Two guys who deserve your custom

We all complain about bad experiences and for that reason we should doubly refer to people who offer GOOD service!

I had a bad experience in Melbourne on 29 December when an idiot ran into my T3 whilst I was on holiday from Brisbane. No details here, but I would like to commend two guys who were very helpful to me. I'd commend them to other Veedubbers who might be in their areas.

Brendan Novak (VW and Audi qualified mechanic). Went out of his way to help me obtain a used T3 steering rack and brought it halfway across Melbourne to make my life easier. He is a fount of knowledge and a great guy to go with it. I was just SO grateful to him. He and his brother are Volksland. They buy and sell VW parts and cars and are in Niddrie, mobile: 0419528 341, email: volksland@hotmail.com.

Darryl Adams (Sales Manager, Beaurepaires) in Clayton was very helpful to me in getting a wheel alignment done on a day when almost everyone else was shut (or, as with B** J**** Tyres, refused to do the work because my driver door was unopenable as a result of the accident). Darryl was most obliging and also a great fellow to deal with. He is on the corner of Centre and Clayton Rds, Clayton. Phone 95629577, email: 02353_aus_store@beaurepaires.com.au.

If you contact these guys, just tell them that a Veedubber was grateful to them and wanted to send people their way. Let them know that GOOD service does not go unnoticed!

2010 will be a great year for VWs

Dave,

Its great to see that there are still business'/people out there willing to provide great service and go out of their way for their customers. It appears to me that basically it comes down to Brendan and Daryl being decent blokes in my eyes. And if I were down that way I would definitely be chasing them up if in need of something.

Its also great to see someone go out of their way to thank those that have helped them, as it seems today that people only want to point out the bad and not the good.

So my hat comes off to all parties involved in the above and a big :tu::tu::tu::tu::tu::tu::tu::tu:

Kev

great to hear you got great help
funny how insurance didnt take it off you to fix it and give you another car whilst interstate..? anywho
as for bob janes and not helping you can blame the system we live in not so much the company..
as if old mate got in a whack in your car in a test drive and couldn't get out due to a fire or something its not hard to see how wh&s would be all over them and more people would be in the poo.. so its just not worth it
good story otherwise

Funny how there is always a different viewpoint out there, I used allrounders on a company car for years and on my private car, found them great value, mind you I didn,t drive real hard but certainly no grandpa stopping all behind me, and the Bob Jane tyre outlets I use have been giving me great service for years now. Good to hear you ended up with a good as can be expected outcome Dave and extra good to see you apreciate the service enough to make us aware of those who helped, not enough people do that these days.:tu:
