Dual cab on carpoint with square headlights advertised as a 83 model, wouldn't it be late80's to 91?

Yep. Round headlights on Kombis up to '88. I guess it could have had the headlights and grille updated, but '83 models were also air-cooled, so they
will not have the lower grille that the '84 and on Wasserboxers have.http://www.cybertects.co.uk/scirocco/vincheck.php which will give extra info on what model type, what factory it was made,
etc etc.
