Buying Help

Hi Everyone,
I'm interested in buying a beetle and looked over a 1967 1300 deluxe beetle today but unsure what it's really worth.
It's hardly been driven and after taking it for a test drive there was evidence of a fuel leak other then that the car looked good needing new tyres and due for rego in 1mths time.
Cheers

maddy.

Tell us what state you are in. The rules of rego are different in each state and that affects the value.

If you are in a state where you must take the car over the pits for inspection and you must remove any rust and have it comply with all the other requirements then you should pay less than in WA for instance, where inspections on owner change over are not required and a rusty, old wreck that is still registered can be sold on.
