[FS - NSW] 1963 Beetle for parts, re-shell or very keen restorer, price drop for quicksale!
Due to recent redundancy, this restoration/parts project will be up for grabs to Aussieveedubbers until tuesday evening before going to the black hole
of ebay.
chassis number is *5386709* showed it to be a 1963
The engine number shows as *S7479434* which also relates to the era, I haven't had this started so would expect a rebuild.
I would class the overall general state of the vehicle as POOR/RUSTY this would be no quick fix, the chassis doesnt seem too bad but I was expecting
to replace the shell or find a very keen sheet metal worker and bribe them with beer!!, the vehicle is also half dismantled, boot, bonnet, front
wings, seats and some interior has been removed, most have bits of rust but all parts are included, was starting to strip down to the chassis to begin
resto, only thing i can really see missing is one rear passenger side wing, also has a front (metal?) visor included.
Will post pictures in the morning once I drag it all out of the garage!
