74 bug


can someone tell me why some later model beetles 74 had a flat screen after the curved was introduced,wouldnt this be going backwards ,and whats the difference with a 1302 and 1303 thanks in advance ,paul

Hi

The flat screen bugs were povo pack models to try to combat the Japs, they had 4 wheel drums, swing axle rear, torsion bar front end and a 1300 motor, a very backward car.

thanks steve ,yeah the bug im talking about does have 4 drum brakes
