a troubled life
Well here we are again another year and more adventures,my first note
is for the lads, why does a wife require a tiled bathroom so that all
water spilt can drain away correct, than why is there a need for that
blasted rug,but wait there's more the rug needs a rug to protect it
right just incase you spill some water?
Next Slim is driving me over the edge with a constant nagging
problem,of i won't start now or ok i'll start but thats it no trip
so away i go with hammer in hand and death in my heart, but lucky for
slim barb call out you 2 play n ice or i'll come out and both of you
will be in for it so hammer down slim stops backfireing So i park my
but just in front waiting for a devine intervention 2 hours later
nothing well i gess it's up to me first change dizzy and replace
points cap rotar all plug leads, nothing so coil nothing i know
electric fuel pump $150.00 later nothing ,back to hammer and while
using some excellant words that i picked up at the worf when i drove
trucks,i slowly edge towards the smart alic ute so barb wont see me
but i hear her again put the hammer down and step away from the
vehicle, she can see through walls i always suspected it now i'm sure,
but back to the horrer tale ,what next maybe filters blocked i use 2
change both make sure the arrow is going the right way yep nothing now
i run screaming for a bigger hammer no little 4 pounder this time,i'm
going for the 14 pounder but lucky for slim i run out of puff running
with the larger hammer by the time i drag it to him i haven't got the
strength to swing it but it's there for next time ,you know i am sure i
an hear snickering from that possesed ute.
Next a trip to budgewoy to pick up fernature from barbs mum we are
both a bit worried about the bugger making it but no worries untill we
hit the penant hills road from the motorway friday peak hour we are
stoped in the midel lane ,but betwaen the hornes honking them thinking
me and my wife are having fun at there expense,i manage to get him
moving again but 400 meters later again a stop but this time i manage
to get him on the foot path, and barb hope out asking where i put the
hammer, while i ponder the problem she sits under a tree
While i'm running back and forward across the freeway with my eyes
shut tempting fate nothing happens so back to the ute ,on the way i
see a hotrod front guard just laying there, now my mate in a wheel
chair is making a trailer for the chair so he can carry stuff so
with excitement in my voice i trot back to brb and with a smile say
look what i found, now i have been scared before but the look in those
eyes put a shudder down my spine and the comment of fix the ^&*%(ng
thing made me think maybe i should try so i say to slim with a kindly
tone in my voice please start and get us to nanners and you know what
the rotting bugger did just that
So when i arrived at barbs mums i went into find the problem mode i
changed dizzy coil points plugs leads again set timimg ,and he run
great until i wanted to go somewhere I hate vw's
so i loaded him up with good and chattel and rope it down for the trip
home next day we set of and that little bugger went like a dream and i
am pretty happy with my self no problems at all, next day the stinking
ute won't move beyond the front yard now i am really stumped the only
thing i havent looked at is the tank and i have nearly a full tank,
but gather the buckets and undo the ose sit and watch the fuel flow
no problems at all runnning free, pull of all lines and poke with wire
and air all free now i am really blow away but,i decide to do new
lines from tank to pump new filt6er and leave 1 on as i use 2
the key and he jumps to start and idels a bit fast but all seems ok,
so after all the grief i still have no idea what was wrong there must
have been a rubber flap in a line that just closed the pipe down i
have heard it happen and this must be what happened here I HOPE
steve
here is a pic of the nasty bugger

That , to me, was worth wading through some of stuff that appears on this forum. Much better than TV. Nice work greedy.
Cheers, Greg
