Another Tacho Wiring question?

Hi Guys.
I got a tacho and need help with wiring.? i did a search and nothing really suits what im looking for. I know one wire connects to your battery,one to your ignition,one to ground, and one i THINK to your coil.Now if this is the case,which side and how do you connect it to the coil.is there a type of fitting to have two wires going to the one source.
let me know.
cheers

unless its one of those big 100mph tachos with a shiny light that tells u to change gear or has lots of colour changing LED lights it wont have a connection to the battery
only ignition, ground and signal to the coil which is usually always green and goes the the -ve side of the coil

if you cant see which is negative its the side that has a wire running down to the distributor
