Oh No... not traffic lights..... speed cameras

First, We get stop signs in Scone..... OK....

and cement road dividers so You can't do a U turn.!! OK

and now someone wants traffic lights... !!!!! WHAT

and finally We now have MacDonalds... YES... MACCAS..

and maybe because Ronald MacDonald likes to speed to work..

Now Today- they [RTA] were installing a new speed camera next to Maccas...

Maybe to catch really hungry people who just can't wait for some cold fries.... lol

but if they get there faster the fries will still be warm.... lol

[I suppose they will catch someone??? other than Ronald Macdonald... lol... Hamburglar?? ]

a new service station next door to Maccas in case Your car is thirsty too.... lol

but if You try to get to the servo faster before You run out
of petrol... that nasty speed camera will be ready....

LEE

What is the world coming to???
I've buried all My carbon credits in the back garden..
I'll dig them back up when I need em... lol

I'm trying to do My bit.... I made a toaster out of candles..
cooks the bread OK... but bit smokie... thats OK

but You can't eat the toast as it tastes like crap...
[in other words-- a candle]

anyone know where you can get candles that don't taste like candles.????
or roses or lilacs, any other smelly smell....
candles have...

Now, I just need to find out how to get electricity off those power poles....
when no one is looking... lol

so, I can really save some carbon emissions...

LEE

At least the Tom Tom will be back in date Lee!

We haven't got any speed cameras compared to the UK! A couple of weeks back on the New England around Willowtree, a 4WD pilot flew past 4 cars and didn't see the "prepare to stop ahead" at the roadworks .... the speed limit was 60 and that's what we were all doing... and he ended up skidding to a halt on the wrong side of the road to avoid the line of cars stopped. Bring in the average speed cameras which the UK has to protect us from these idiots!

Have you been smoking Lee? Maybe people drive fast through Scone to escape the residents? (and I can say that because I know people there).

So long as they leave the Broke Rd and Wollombi area alone as my shortcut, I'm happy.

The new red light cameras are red light and speed cameras in one.

So if you're gunning it to beat the red light camera, you'll get done for speeding. Simple solution, stop for red lights. I've seen what happens if you dont, and almost been a victim a couple of times. Nothing worse than being hit in the drivers door at 60kmh. If you dont die you'll be hospital for a long time.

I still think that if you get caught on a fixed speed camera in NSW then you're a bit of a moron. They usually have at least 2 big oversize signs before them. If you dont slow down after that, you either a) arent paying enough attention or b) not smart enough to be driving.

Hi Lee, I read your email a couple of times and still can't work out what it is that you don't like. Is it thst Scone now has stop signs, centre dividers and traffic lights? Or a McDonalds? or a new speed camera? Or all of them?

Speed cameras are great. The signs warn you, and your Tom Tom / Navman does too. They catch young idiots, and drivers who don't pay attention, as Chris says.

All Scone needs now is a Hungry Jacks to take some business away from Maccas. The burgers are better there and you get free drink refills. But their chips are crap.

It was 2am. Lee was obviously drunk and delirious. Or maybe high on paint fumes after recoating the tinware.

If Gordon Ramsey came in to my local Hungry Jacks he'd have a field day. Filth. Its too samey as mcdonalds anyway. The burgers are only better at hungry jacks in the promo. They are all mass produced turds. Yes even the 'Angus' burgers. You cant tell a Maccas chip from a Hungry Jack chip. Even the packaging is the same. Pray for a red rooster or KFC. Love the hot n spicy fillet box. Have you got a subway? How good is a foot long meatball with extra bacon n cheese. Or a double meat BMT.

Where the hell is my missus and why isnt my dinner on the table?

back on topic... I hate red lights, they waste too much fuel. Especially in a 1600kg 4 litre auto.

I thought Gordon Ramsay would love Hungry Jacks, as he's a turd himself.

Didn't he say something about Tracy Grimshaw and red lights?? Or wasn't I paying attention?

Sorry what was the topic of this post again? Oh yes, Subway. Gotta agree with you Chris, their meatball with extra cheese is sensational, on brown and toasted. Lee, does Scone have a Subway yet ??!

Love Red Rooter too but not many others seem to. I also miss Taco Bell; shame they all closed. When the one at Belmore opened (sharing with KFC), they offered 10 tacos for $10. The first seven or eight were easy...

Maccas, Coca Cola, Windows, speeding, Leave it out and try the independents. I am a hoon and a drag racer flat out. I love my speed and power. No points off my licence as I have respect for speed limits and enjoy cruising.
