[SA] aftermarket headlights---SOLD!
hi,
Seller's Name – Kai
Suburb / Post Code – Beverley SA 5009
Item Description including Brand – brand unknown, imported from the UK from a large after market vw parts supplier.
Condition – as new!
Item Cost - SOLD.
i bought these in '04 for a car i no longer have.
i opened the box to look at them when i got them, and again today to take some photos. other than that they are absolutely brand new!
they are for later models (beetle, kombi, type 3) with the single screw headlight rims.
the black cross pieces give the impression of the lights being tinted without disrupting the brightness of the lights.
they use H4 halogen globes (globes are not included in the sale).
I'm asking $150 for them, as you can see i paid more than that! it's a fair price for something i no longer require.
if you're local I'm happy for you to collect them from me, if you require postage it can be arranged at your own expense.

Hope You sell them..
tell My why You paid so much for these headlamps??
and why import them from the UK??
I will admit I've never seen the black bits before..
but I just use Hella H4 semi sealed beams in My VWs...
always have... now use Xenon bulbs... 55/60w

i was after the very distinctive, modern look that these lights give you.....
i don't think they we're or are expensive... at the time, i really wanted them, and i could afford them, that makes them a good deal in my books!
