| Connects to the heater boxes and to the foil or plastic pipes from the fan shroud

I am using the Empi version of this system atm and I had to flatten one of the lower pipes a little to clear the full flow pump cover. Does the
stainless version from George suffer this problem too? I like the system itself but, god, the Empi system is just woeful quallity.

mmmmmmmmmmm..........doubt it would foul
There is about 20??mm between the pump cover and top pipes from 2 and 4
That said i am currently going to a custom built set up
I flanged my connections because it didnt want to seal properly. Dont know if it was the fault of the extractor
I hate all extractors equally for this reason
And ALL exhausts suffer from poor design regarding the heat riser take offs
These ones werent even drilled. Any heat to the manifold is purely conduction
That said - it works ok at stopping incing.
As an extractor - it is not much better than a stock set up
But i like the fact the pea shooters are fixed
As i said - for the money they are ok
Pity you cant buy a stock exhaust in stainless

I like that this system comes out of the stock cut outs and has good ground clearence.
20mm from stock pump cover to pipe I am pretty sure that would foul my style of full flow cover.(old Burg style) The base on the cover is prob 8-10mm
thick plus the outlet barb sticks out another 25-30mm.
I am looking at a stainless hideaway style this time around and like you, get some flanges welded on the J pipes. I bloody hate those doughnut
gaskets. Does the stainless system have baffels fitted in the tail pipes?
