oil filler nut tool
Seller's Name – Lindsay Smith
Suburb / Post Code – East Gresford NSW 2311
Item Description – oil filler nut tool
Condition – New
Cost - $10 + postage
What Do I have today ?
Well I'm glad you asked !
VW Volkswagen air-cooled oil filler nut tool
This is a 1/2" drive tool that takes off the oil filler nut on air cooled engines 1200 - 1600cc
A common place for an oil leak or if you just want to get the breather off for a good clean out
Hot Tip : Remember you really only get one go at removing the oil filler nut way down in that oily hole
So it's a MUST that you use a small screw driver to clean out the groove in the oil filler first ! So this tool fits properly.
Then use a small 1/2" extension a long breaker bar and PUSH DOWN REALLY HARD!!! Hard so the tool doesn't slip out of the grooves
If the nut won’t move then STOP! You will have to apply some heat to the top of the filler neck! It wont take much heating, just enough to break the
sealing of the threads
This tool is just the thing for that home tinkers or the almost complete VW workshop
Stand and nut in picture not included!
What a great thing to have in your tool box
Will come in a package tough bag and be under 250g
