Thanks for the comments guys, It took me nearly 3 years and way too much cash but now that she's running it was all worth it.
The bonnet doesn't fit too well though, it was a second hand one from a reputable VW repairer too, maybe i need to adjust the latch so that it sits
down at the front otherwise i shall try and bend it myself.
I have had a few niggles with it this week, the idle was too high and this was after the service and tune up ! and the steering wheel is 90 degrees
out at the straight ahead, small things but really niggly after so much work.
All I really need is a radio now and a single speaker in the dash.
