VIDEO - One for the drag racers - VW Drag Bike of Stan Pobjoy
This is a very old video, but none the less a great bit of footage on old 8mm of Stan Pobjoy on his VW supercharged drag bike going down the 1/4.
Footage is from 1970 to 1978 and unfortunately there is no sound of the bike, only a sound track. But you get the idea.

Great vidoes.
I never saw Stan run but I remember all the fast cars used to smoke the tyres for most of the track, that's why VWs had such an advantage until tyre
technology caught up.

If so where did he race after Castlereagh was closed ?
