the rear sway bars which I could find have a central bend to clear the transmission/ forks, unlike the front bars.
Couldn't find one like this in theSamba gallery, so I called the seller. He states he took it off an early beetle, ? 1956 or early 60's with swing
axle rear, also used it on a Purvis before he converted it to IRS rear end. He didn't know the manufacturer, and as I haven't seen this type before
I don't know whether this is excessively bent or not but he said this was as removed.

thats just the sway bar for the models fitted with invisible torsion bar tubes and tranny nose cone 
varient, the bend to go under the forks is nothing like the one in ebay, theyre small uniform bends, not something that looks like a freight train ran
over it
