still plenty of stuff left, needs to be gone, I'm surprised at the lack of interested people in this. Get a move on or all goes to scrap.

thing is if there was a listing then people could buy thro here and it wouldn't go to waste. Just selling to people in the area ain't gonna shift it
as not enough VW bods in a single area in Oz.
Rest of the country would love a chance to see what they could buy
And if there is NOS stuff there then that is sacrilege to put that to scrap. Come on let the rest of us have a fair go, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe shops that make their money off VW's just throw stuff out. Surely you would give it away or give it to another shop. At least then
the parts are still there and surely under a gentlmens agreement the shop you gave it too would help you out when you needed some of those parts. I
realise space is a major issue but surely the parts are better somewhere elese besides the tip or the metal recyclers. Throwing stuff out just
pushing the already sometimes expensive prices up and the shops that can store it just make more off what they have. I would take it all if i had
space. I hate seeing Vw stuff go in the bin regardless of what it is.
Is this on again this weekend?

Dude. totally agree. Seriously if you rented a large enough shed for a few months I bet you could sell a majority of the stuff and even overseas
people are always keen on NOS etc. So annoying that it's so far away for keen punters like us to get too

strange how everyone won'ts this stuff when it being thrown out? how long has the shop been open and no one has grabbed it? its simple economics
storing stuff costs money, if its not paying its way then the scrappy man will be happy to collect. if you have the room then grab some bargains,if
not then don't can the bloke for keeping his business viable. obivously he is having to diversify to keep his business running. good luck to
him.

exactly
under normal circumstances those parts would sit for sale for ever.
People only bleed and cry when they hear the words VW parts and tip/scrap in the same sentence
I gave fair warning that was starting a bit of a clean up several months back and yet i still found myself taking 2 trailer loads of good useable
parts to the tip. and the exact same thing happened when Brad did his clean up
I've only made a small dent in my crap pile but i know im gonna end up sending more stuff to the tip cos people are all talk when it comes to saving
vw parts from scrap
but to the people that did take some of it off my hands and put it to good use, many thanks, you've done your part for keeping the VW gods happy

the terrible truth is that 90% of vw people are dreamers and think this stuff is a huge and growing movement and their cars are appreciating assets
and worth more than anyone will pay for it
these people are shifting their vw stuff so they have room to look after the fords ,holden and toyotas that their customers are driving

The VW scene is pretty small in Oz compared to other countries plus Aussie's are much less purists than other countries, so not so concerned with NOS
parts etc, but the other problem is the size of Oz. With the size and small client base Australian businesses need to use things like forums to help
get there name known nationally and then with a web based listing of parts currently available I think you would move more stuff than just the old
skool 'word of mouth' approach. Just by the numbers, if you think you're gonna move your stock locally for such a small 'niche' market then you
will have that stock sitting around till it rusts.
The Australian way of life is changing and it's becoming harder for working people to get to the shops by 5pm.
