Show us your wheels for your Beetle

You may have seen me post in the selling forum for a 70 or earlier beetle. fingers crossed all going well i should be the owner of a 69 beetle.

I am going to lower the front and of course get a set of wheels. I'd be interested in seeing your wheels and what price and where I could get a set from.

thanks in advance

What are you after?
A 69 will be a 4 x 130
Not a lot of options
Well - a lot that have the wrong offset
If you are staying 4 x 130 - have a look here
http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/914_wheel_types/914_wheel_types.htm

All the 4 bolts will fit to some degree

You may be able to pick up a set of V Force spiders
6" x 15" 36 or 20ET

Otherwise go Porsche if you are after GL

Widened stock wheels look great. You can buy brand new chrome steel wheels in 15 x 5.5" size to suit 12v Beetles. As Dave says, ring Vintage (02) 9789 1777.

At that price I would rather Empi 8 spoke cant be much more, and alloy wont rust.

I am picking up my 69 Beetle on Saturday i know they are 4 stud but not sure what you mean about the offset?

I am really wanting to go with the standard bug look but with lowered front suspension. So im thinking widened rims painted white with the original chrome hubcaps but I am open to suggestions
