just an update, the car goes to RAW on Monday for stripping then off to Rod Penrose on Monday afternoon for the new interior. I have decided at this stage not to change the front and rear bars.

Here is a photo of a print i had printed on aluminum it looks very effective.

will update once i take some photos of progress of the new interior provided Rod can leave his engine build alone lol

Very excited to see Rosie get her new interior, should be brilliant!

I'm curious, did you plug the hole on the passenger side where the mirror should be? Or was there never a mirror on the passenger side? :l

See, that is pretty damn cool!

If I take any of the mirrors off of mine, I have these massive gapping holes. Unfortunately I discovered these holes due to certain people liking Zelda too much and smashing them to smithereens!
:(

What day do you reckon you'll get her back?

now the days will be going slow  Well I guess in about 2 weeks you will be driving and all new car, almost. Are the boys at Raw going to give it a few tweaks, go fast bits :tu:

Went down to see Rod Penrose today to see the seats and the rest of the car.

Here is Rosie all stripped and naked

Rod has done a fantastic job on the front seats, I couldn't be happier, he is modifying Camo's old head rests to fit these as well.

Hi Paul

Went down to see Rod Penrose today to look at some rims and chat about my interior (hopefully November) and I saw 'Rosie' - very nice car mate and the blue seats look even better live.

Won't be long before you have her back.

Cheers

Tossing up between dropping in Recaro seats (second hand but recovered) or just recovering my standard 1975 seats - would prefer seats which hug rather than flat as standard. Have some thinking and decisions to make.

Also recover rear seat, new door trims, carpet, carpet under boot etc.

Getting the front lowered by 4 inchs. Looking at either 914 style rims, or 8 spoke sprinstars or Rivieras (my favourite).

Also I am building a subwoofer box behind the rear seat. Not sure where to position the front speakers,a nd I did note you have them in the kickwells. Also installing a 4 channel amp.

Rod has been great help and I look forward to finishing Olive before the end of this year.

The front speaker panels work really well as long as you sound proof them, rod will be covering them in carpet. Was he working on rosie today? lol
