[FS - NSW] or [QLD] VW T3 1991 - Camperize

Volkswagen T3 for sale!

Hi guys,

we sadly have to sell our T3 because we head back to Germany.
About the car:

VW T3, Year 1991
„Camperize“ Model (build as a panel van, and modified to a camper)
2,1L MV Engine
410.000km (tells nothing about the condition)
NSW Rego until September 2010

Fuel consumption: ~10-11L/100km
Oil consumption: ~0,5L/1000km (tells that the engine is alright)
Coolant consumption: ~200ml/12.000km

Bullbar, Towbar, aftermarket wheels, 500$ sound system (Mp3-Radio, 4 speakers JVC) etc.

We bought the car on December, 22nd 2009 from the first owner. It had a gearbox which was near the end of it's life (main bearing), but beside of that the T3 seemed to be in a very good condition,. After we had the gearbox changed, we travelled for about 15.000km without a single breakdown. The only unexpected thing was the oil seal on the crankshaft.

The following jobs were done (got all receipts):

Sydney (Kombi Rescue): gearbox change – against a good working used one >>> 1500$
Melbourne: 4 new tyres >>> 400$
Adelaide (Cartex) : due to a dead oil seal on the crankshaft:
new oil seal & O-ring, new clutch
oil-/oilfilterchange
new sparkplugs >>> 602$
Cairns (Volkscentre) : new front brake pads >>> 120$
___________
2622$

The car is in an excellent condition for its age and km's. It was regulary serviced and is very reliable. There were many jobs done in 2009 of which we only know a few because we don't have all receipts.

e.g.

new cylinder heads, new battery, new igonition switch, new radiator fan, air- & fuelfilter

We're on the way down the east coast and would like to sell the car between Brisbane and Sydney.

I offer it here, since I prefer to give the car in good hands and not to other backpackers that don't appreciate driving a VW! Should mention that I'm pretty much into VW's, driving a beetle in Germany =). So the car was well looked after. We even only used premium fuel....

PRICE: 4500 $ ono

If your interested or have any questions don't hesitate. Just write me an e-mail or give me a call.

Yeah i will.
But as i said, i'd like to see the bus in good hands...
And backpackers will probably look more on the km's than on the actual condition.

Me again, sorry.

Just wanted to say:

If there's anybody, who is searching for a T3, make us an offer.
We can talk about the price. Cheers!
