How many unsuspecting mates do I need?

Ok I plan to part the body from the pan on my '63 Beetle and was wondering how many unsuspecting mates I would need to lift the body to a dolly. No we aren't young bucks anymore (+40) so an idea would be good.

Cheers

I stripped my shell of everything possible and the wife helped me lift it off. And I'm sure she isn't as strong as us 40+ year old blokes.

I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!

I did mine by myself (all panels removed but glass in) lifting one end at time and tying it up in the rafters of the garage. Lifting one end at a time it was pretty light. I'd grab 2 mates. you at the front, 2 at the back to keep it steady. maybe leaving the rear bumper on as a handle.Suggest taking the wheels off too, then you dont need to lift so high.

Thanks fella's for all the advice. Looks like me and 2 mates should be able to handle it easily with one of us doing a hip or hammy.
Not too sure if I could handle it by myself but nice to know it can be done.

Cheers

Chappo
