As you're a Pom come to Noosa, there's thousands of us already here so it'll just be like home ....except we've got sandy beaches, blue sky,
plenty of space and we speak english!! Pubs might not be up to scratch though but it's a small sacrifice You also have to promise to go back.

Mate, pretty much anywhere here in Australia has something worth seeing/doing. It depends what you are in to though as to where would be best. You
can backpack around just about anywhere on the coast and get good surf and interesting countryside. Maybe look at the time of year your coming though
as if it is in our winter, stay to the north of the country for the warm surfing weather or if you are here in summer, Victoria has some great beaches
and towns to explore as well.

You'd have to start in Sydney and take it from there. Don't miss the VW Nationals in Fairfield (Sydney) if you are here on Sunday 23rd May - our
biggest VW show.
Grab the Lonely Planet book on Australia and have a read. Also check out http://www.lonelyplanet.com/australia
I liked Kent very much when I was there in 1999, catching up with an old girlfriend. She works as a copper in Maidstone.

A little off the actual topic but for all of our American friends (and others) on this site, what you guys call a Brit, we call a Pom or Pommie (quite
often with the word bastard in there as well).
