More questions

Gidday again,
Just wondering how hard it is to adjust the pretension on the torsion bars as my Baja has loads of positive camber at the moment and really needs a lift.
Thanks guys

I assume your talking about the rear? Its not so hard as long as you don't mind yelling at it some, the first time is always the hardest. Once you have done it a dozen times can do it in your sleep. The front involves taking the beam out, apart, cutting and welding.

sounds llike you should get yourself a copy of jeff hibbards book "baja bugs and buggies" everything you will every want to know. It covers from toy cars to old school race

Yea I have a copy of the book but don't want to be left without a car again as I work on it and I was talking about the rear. Also what direction should I rotate them as I assume right goes ina clockwise direction and left anti clockwise.
Thanks!

yeah mate, rotate them further toward the ground:) just go one notch to start with, nothing worse than it cocking a leg every time you go around a corner (doesn't help off road either) shouldn't take more than a short day to do both sides. Mark where the axle flanges and the spring plates relate, before you undo the three bolts so that your toe is still correct when you are finished. That and you may need new torsion rubbers once you have them apart so you might consider getting a set before you start, or know where to get some at short notice, can't think of anything else off top if my head. Good luck and be careful
