Carpet Expert Required
Hi Guys
Can you lot help me with the carpets.
1 - Obviuosly the front floor pan section.
2 & 3 - Slips under the metal clip on the heater rails and glues down. Have I got them around the right way?
6 - Under the dash and the cutouts over the steering column.
4, 5 - Where do these bits go, I have no Idea.
Have already installed the rear piece from under the window and into the cargo section behind the back seat and also the two rear wheel well sections.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, you're got 2 and 3 the right way round. The outer edge goes under the metal rail along the top of the heater channel, and it glues down as you
say. That thicker inner part at the top wraps down onto the floor in front of the seats, wher it is then covered by the front carper section (part
1).
Part 4 is for the rear passenger section. The three 'prongs' face forward. The centre goes over the tunnel - you may have to cut out seat belt
holes, and maybe one for the handbrake. The left and right 'prongs' go on the floor for the passengers' feet, and up under the front seats.
Part 5 does look to me like carpet for the rear parcel area, but if you've alreasy installed that, the only other place it can be for is the front
luggage area. The 'ears' probably tuck up behind the bonnet hinges.

Have any of you guys ever fitted these carpet sets, they are really crap. The front section doesnt meet the shape of the floor pan, when you hold the
tunnel part in the corner of the tunnel on one side and then roll the carpet over the tunnel it falls two inches short of the floor on the other side.
The back section when you put it under the back seat and those rear covers, its 4 inches short of going under the front section.
Has any of you ever fitted a set that was a good fit, if so, where did you get em from.
