If you contact Mike Sharp, from memory he has moulds for wider guards on a Manx. He maybe able to pop out a set of bolt ons for you.
Go talk to a fibreglass guy and see what he says, he should be able to pull a mould of teh current guards and pop out a bolt on as well. I reckon it will look like shit though and that is exactlt why I cut the body in half and tubbed the guards.

What a crock of ^%$#


There is no way known they can inspect anything without permission from the owner. They can issue you with a defect notice which gives you 21 days to show at an Inspection station. They can only do this if your vehicle is defective, not because they are wankers. You papers will cover most of you mods anyway, you are required to have full width bumpers not guards, depending on which year papers you have. Man these fools pee me off. They are all so full of it.
