Hi Octane Performance coatings

Hi everyone.

Anybody used Hi Octane Performance coatings at Rydalmere in Sydney?

They're close to my locale and
I need to get a turbo header, dump pipe and exhaust housing coated to throw in my Beetle.

I've read a previous thread (2006):

http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=48849

that advises to steer clear of comp. coatings, Guildford which I shall do.

Thanks.
Shaun.

Thanks for that, and thank you for such quick reply!

Yeah, I was talking to Richard the other wk. about header dia./design for my application, and he pointed out a system on one of his type 4's he had coated twenty years ago which still looks new.

Didn't think at the time to ask where he gets them done now though. Hmmm.

Cheers! :)

Whatever happened to Dak to the Future?
The "work in progress was a big drawer at VW shows in the mid-90's.

Craig, from rom your comments, I am guessing it's still a work in progess? :)

From my observation it is still "a work in progress" complete with a random scattering of surface rust.

Richard told me that he's getting back to it very soon. :)

Great to hear!

A bit of surface rust - a retro tech rat-look racer!
