got it off, will make plans tomorrow after we cut heat shields off and inspect

Whats with the flexi joint in them, do they need it?

yeah okay, so when i did the cat removal we welded the heat shields back on.
Now with them removed again a look see reveals that the major repair on the pipe is still good BUT WHEN welding up the shield before managed to blow a small hole through the flexi which is so thin its almost impossible to patch
We have tried tho
Will try it out at least i will be able to tell if it was the cause of a lil backfire thats been present even if it only lasts a few minutes

So still looking for one for next week
