My new '69 Type 34 1600L

About 10 years ago I used to own a 57 Bug, which I loved... nothing compared to the love I feel for this thing though!

Got a long road ahead in terms of restoration but I know it'll be worth it!

Currently it's with Wolfgang at Volkscourt where it's having the motor and other mechanics brought up to spec - it's also getting full leather trim by Spence (recommended by Wolfgang). I'm feeling really confident leaving it in the hands of those guys... unlike the bodywork guy who I needed to coach every step of the way!

Empi 914 wheels will be added... probably later as I'm becoming a fan of the mini-lites. (somebody convince me I'm wrong keeping them!)

Agreed. Too nice a car to have the thread hijacked.

Vote 1 for changing the wheels though. Radar would be my preference, but 914 is better than minilite
