Be VERY careful what you call your car........James Dean called his 550 Porsche Spyder " Little Bastard", and look what it did to him!

Cheers, Greg

My beetle is a 66 and it's called Cosmo.

It was light green when I bought it, it has since been sprayed white.

It got it's name from a receipt I found in the glove box - A towing receipt made out to a fella called Cosmo.

Also have Floyd the 73 Super beetle (Found a Pink Floyd Cassette in it)

The name just fit and has been it ever since.

I name all my cars - weird perhaps but I think it prevents me from treating them badly.

I had Mandy the 94 Mitsubishi Starwagon,
Penny the 88 Pintara,
Hal the 94 Fairmont (Computer went crazy in it and it tried to kill me),
Karl the 05 Focus,
Mojo the 95 Magna
and now still have Manny the 00 Mirage and
Mitch the 98 Magna.

Another appreciator of the Beatles reference here... and what the hell am I doing here??? First time in a year that I'm back and it's straight to BA, then YD... and I'm nearly 24 for crying out loud!! :borg:

I guess once a Young Dubber, always a Young Dubber... reckon I'll be making an appearance still in 2035...

And Seeing as tho everyones throwing in there other cars too now... even bitsamissuns, here goes...

Buttercup (just BC)... yellow '76 Kombi camper that I broke as a p-plater and am restoring now.
Saphir... blue '76 Microbus, formerly scoob powered that Ive never turned a spanner towards restoring yet.
Moonlight... white '77 Kombi camper, rusted to hell that me and my ex started rebuilding, that is now stuffed from 3 years of being half finished after we broke up and is gunna get stripped.
Schmeetle... aforementioned engineless martini-olive '74 L-bug from before.
George... green '74 Kombi panelvan auto stripped out rusted away crapheap shed.
Wozza... the crapheap '76 panelvan I scrapped 6 months ago.
Carlos... my poo-orange XD Falcon wagon that I'm rebuilding after stacking it in a 9-car pile last year
Whitey (short for Whitey Ford, obvious musical pun)... my old white XF that i spent buttloads on, got bored with, and sold recently.
Herman... hermitage red lowered ZK Fairlane that I drive these days.

Nooooooow why was I here again? Oh thats right.

CHICK THAT STARTED THIS THREAD, IF YOU STILL EXIST???... QUESTION!!...

Where'd ya get that blue bug from outta curiosity? Just wondering if it's the one my neighbour sold a couple of years back.... always wondered where it ended up that's all. :)
