i have my eye on something very "special", so need to raise some cash ASAP ...

this is the second of the three that i am going to post up.
it is an original motor, original floor pan, 32,000 miles only 58 or 59 (can someone help out here, not exactly certain which year - i think that
it's the 1st year of big window beetles whatever that was )
this car has an incredibly well documented history ... we have the original purchase receipt .... all the original documentation and history of the
car including every receipt, every log book from when it was first bought (including the first owners drivers licence ) - all filled out and stamped
correctly etc etc etc ...
the car has almost no rust .... it is car is running and was on full rego (until it ran out a few days ago) ... i was able to get the same rego pklate
that it had in victoria for pretty much all of its life, but that lapsed a week ago ....
the log books suggest that it has only done an original 32,000 miles :shock: ...
i also have had this car inspected by a vw "expert" and have quite a detailed report on it's condition .... and it pulls up pretty well on the
report ... however, the report was done for me by the gentleman concerned as a personal favor - i did not pay for it ... and i feel that in all
fairness i would need to get his permission before i handed over the details of his report on this car .. however, it came thru very well
it has also had a very thorough going over by steve mueller - i spent about $1.5K with steve mueller (kombi rescue fame) above my purchase price from
memory, on checking brakes, fuel lines, steering etc to get the car up to blau slip standard and rego (it was driven from melb to sydney without
incidence when i picked it up) etc etc etc ... looking at $6.5K OBO
here are some pix - these were taken just before i bought it .. it still looks pretty much exactly the same ...
