[FS - SA] 61 Ghia part restored project- NOW SOLD

61 Karmann Ghia part restored, Has now found a new VW-loving home..

Thanks for Your interest everyone. Kudos to a group of such passionate VW people. It's been great to talk to some of you. cheers db

The back story..
I bought the car in average condition about 20 years ago. Drove it for several years, hooked the girl -now married 2 kids ;-) and took it off the road to do the resto.. Well, work needs meant I needed a bigger modern vehicle and the sad, sad reality is I don't have room for KG and can't keep her forever. Selling as is.

Body has been stripped, all rust cut out, and resprayed. Interior has new headlining, new dash, new carpet, new buckets and a plush red/black theme throughout. Stored in dry garage since this work was done.

What's not done. Electrics, motor (comes with a bog standard 1500, not in car) re-assembly. Comes with the original bits and pieces as removed from the car.

A couple of pics here for you, and more at a web page so as not to weigh down this page..

Happy to answer any questions
cheers
Don

_Right thing to do?? Ahh, now we're getting philosophical.. Good question, and if it's not the right thing I'll need a house with a triple garage and I'll be back on here with a "WTB"

Grumble- Nice story. Well done for persevering and I'm sure your son enjoys it too.
