[FS - NSW] 68 Beetle- SOLD
Need to sell my beetle. It has a Wayne Penrose 1916 engine with dual Kadrons and engle W100 camshaft, near new rear drums, front discs with a spare
set of slotted discs that i havn't put on yet also have new droppped spindles still in the box. Has some rust on the bottom of the drivers door but i
have a spare door that needs to be painted with no rust. Spent $2500 getting rid of rust. Asking $6000 but negotiable.
Note the exhaust is a quiet pack now not the hotdog style in the picture and has some holes in it which will need replacing.

If I hadn't have bought my 69 in March i would be snapping it up for that price. I paid $6K as well and it was in similar condition but needs new
wheels, interior and has a 1600 twin port motor but not a Wayne Penrose.
looks like a good deal if you want to sell the drop spindles separately I maybe interested provided they are for a ball joint disc brake front end

I'll let you know about the spindles. I'm pretty sure someone on here can tell if they would fit a 69.

Paint isn't bad but would benefit from cut and polish. Little bit of spider cracking on rear wheel arches but not much. Shifter is a Empi T-bar with
short shift, not sure of the gearbox though.

The previous owner had the motor built in August 2006 at a cost of over $4500 but only 10 000 miles have been put on since then. It is only a weekend
car so not many miles.I've only used premium unleaded in it and it has been good to me. Any other bits of info you need let me know.
Thanks
Michal
