6 Volt Oil Pick-ups

Does anyone know the diameter of the 6 Volt style pick-up?

I need to know so I can mock up an adapter to fit a Pobjoy sump to my FO (1300) engine.

What have the formula Vee boys done to fit them to 1200's?

The Vee guys drill the case out put a 1600cc pick up in and extend the pick up down lower into the sump.
