WTB... 3" Lift Kit to suit 181

Looking for a lift kit to suit a 181 "Thing"..
Front and rear yokes are also compatible from a Type1 beetle...
Partially available new from Mike at Sharpbuilt ,but thought I would ask here before purchasing ...
Trying to save a $ where I can..:)

3 inches is legal if u call it 'chassis stiffening' rather than lift kit

you can get em from http://www.cip1.com,  and even mick motors (i believe) can order them in.

I believe that they are steel though, rather than Mick's alloy lift kit. And if the legalities annoy ya i'm pretty certain Mick does a 2 inch...

Thanks for the feedback..
Not concerned if not technically legal as it will only ever be on club rego...
Will look into the cip or Mick Motors option...

Cheers
Tony
