T1 Fan Housing Throttle Cable Tube

Does anyone know where I can get a NEW T1 Fan Housing Throttle Cable Tube?

I know I can get one from CSP in Germany. I believe theirs are made in Germany.

I want quality!

You can always try these out. I have bought one, but not fitted yet.

WOW Kev...

You should have bought a box of 'em...

One of the best improvements I've seen that should be on every engine.... IMHO..

PS: vw54.. Yes, Mine is a pain... I'll have to put a clamp on the end... good idea..

Hi

I always weld a tag on the stock tube and put a self taper in it, same idea.

You can see it in this photo of my sons motor.

i used to do the same thing

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Buggin_74/picture030.jpg

but its alot of work when a few correctly sized washers, a piece of fuel hose and a clamp do the job just as well with no fabbing needed

Hi

The good thing about having it secured is that if you break a cable you can feed it all the way though without getting under car as long as you have the sheaf over the transmission in place.

Just getting back to the original question, just find a tube that fits in the "over the transmission sheaf" snugly and the weld tag on like Joel and I did.

Use a speedo cable outer tube and a zip tie at back , leave it long ,say half way across gearbox .
