Motorkhana 12th June. Ansell Pk, all welcome.

I have a theory that half this forum likes polishing their cars better than driving them so prove me wrong... [yes I'm daring you all] :punk: ... that means you Craig S.

My car club CACA runs 'come and try' motorkhanas. You come, run round the flags in the right configuration against the clock. Big open paddock and nothing to hit. And your car will only get dusty, which means you have another excuse to wash it and polish again afterwards.
Kids can run from 12 years old. It's a great way to improve your car control and get to know the limits of your car under controlled circumstances. $50 for the day or there abouts, half that for juniors (under 18).

It's at Ansell Pk in Richmond and scrutineering starts at about 8:30am. Racing starts about 9:30. All you need is a car that runs, no rego needed, if you have banger, just trailer it in and run it. Only thing is, people with open top cars need a full faced helmet to run.

Chuck me an email if you want to come. There are a couple of us running VWs in the club so someone can hop and give you a hand if you need it.

p.s. a very well driven, bog stock 1500 beetle won one of these events outright last year...

And if you are too much of nancy to drive it on the dirt, we're running one on Eastern Ck skid pan later in the year. :dork:

Nice try Pete, but Gwendolyn's going in a different direction. Skid pan..... maybe.

And BTW I've never polished her, but I do drive her to work a few days a week, is that enough to keep you happy :dork:

Anyway what are you doing on a VW forum, you don't have a VW body or VW engine, all you've got left is the pan :-P (and a wife who won't let you have a Kombi)
